Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, popularly referred to by the name Ashanti was born October 13 the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and actor. Ashanti became famous as a teenager and eventually became signed to Murder Inc. Records in 2002. The same year, she was featured on Fat Joe's What's Luv? The track "What's Love?" by Fat Joe and Ja Rule's "It's Always" on Time was a huge hit for both of them. In the case of Foolish and the track What's Luv as the top two songs, she became the first woman to have two songs in the Billboard Hot 100 chart top 10 of the United States. What's Luv? The Declaration is the fourth Ashanti studio album. It was released on Murder Inc. on June 3, 2008. Hey Baby After the Club was released on the 16th of October to radio and digital stores. The actress has appeared in the film Christmas in the City as in Army Wives. Aitch sampled Rock wit U in his Baby 10th March 2022 song.
